Bhushan steel case: CBI issues look-out notice against Sanjay, Aarti Singhal

New Delhi (India), Apr 24 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday issued a lookout notice against Sanjay Singal and Aarti Singal in connection with the Bhushan steel case.

New Delhi (India), Apr 24 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday issued a lookout notice against Sanjay Singhal and Aarti Singhal in connection with the Bhushan steel case.
Earlier, CBI had filed a case against the duo, directors Ravi Prakash Goyal, Ram Naresh Yadav, Hardev Chand Verma, Ravinder Kumar Gupta and one Ritesh Kapoor besides unidentified public servants over charges of corruption and criminal conspiracy. 
CBI had accused Singhal and others of availing loans from 33 banks and financial institutions from 2007 to 2014 and defaulting on payments worth over Rs 2,000 crore. 
They have also been accused of fraudulently diverting a huge amount of bank funds through shell companies.
After registering a case against them, as many as 18 locations in multiple cities were searched by the CBI on April 6.
In August last year, the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) had arrested former promoter and managing director of Bhushan Steel, Neeraj Singhal.
