Bhima Koregaon Inquiry Commission summons Gadling, Dhawale

Pune (Maharashtra) [India], Aug 23 (ANI): The Bhima Koregaon Inquiry Commission has summoned Surendra Gadling and Sudhir Dhawale to appear before it in Pune on September 6 and 7, respectively.

Pune (Maharashtra) [India], Aug 23 (ANI): The Bhima Koregaon Inquiry Commission has summoned Surendra Gadling and Sudhir Dhawale to appear before it in Pune on September 6 and 7, respectively.
Both of them are currently lodged in judicial custody at Yerawada jail. The inquiry commission will question them on their submitted affidavits.
On January 1 in 2018, violence erupted at an event to mark 100 years of the Bhima-Koregaon battle, leaving one dead and several injured, including 10 policemen. The police had filed 58 cases against 162 people during a state-wide shutdown in January following clashes in Bhima-Koregaon. (ANI)
