Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 6 (ANI): After heavy rains lashed Ayodhya, the water level in the Saryu River is rapidly increasing.

Devotees from different parts of the country are arriving in Ayodhya to witness a glimpse of Ram Lala and take a holy dip in the Saryu River.
Amid this increase, the devotees thronged at Ayodhya and praised the government's efforts to prevent any mishap at the banks of the Saryu River while taking a holy dip.
Speaking to ANI, a devotee Madhav Aggarwal said, "I came from Ghaziabad to visit the temple of Ram Lala and Ayodhya. We were taking a holy dip in the Saryu River but as you can see the level of water is constantly rising in the river due to which the administration has put barricades on it to avoid any kind of mishaps. I also urge people to take a holy dip in between these barricades only to avoid drowning in the river. I also took a dip in barricades only.

"Now, we will go to Hanuman Garhi and then the temple. The arrangements are very fine and ghats are also well-constructed. Everything is fine, now I am just waiting for Ram Lala's darshan," said Aggarwal.

Another devotee Himanshu Garg raised slogans of "Bolo Ram Chandra Ki Jai" and stated, "The water level in the Saryu River is constantly rising and the administration has made fine arrangements for the devotees. They have constructed the ghats beautifully and properly. I just want to request every one to take a holy dip in between the barricades only, as the water level is constantly rising."

One of the priests of the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department Guide, Om Prakash Pandey said, "The water level and the flow of Saryu Mata are constantly rising and is on the verge of flooding. The Yogi government has put up barricades for visitors to avoid any kind of mishap. Additionally, we have "Water Police" too, who patrol the barricaded areas from time to time and urge people not to cross the barricades. This setup by the government is indeed a smart way to prevent people from drowning." (ANI)
