Ayodhya SP Madhuban Singh highlights extensive security arrangements for Deepotsav

With the excitement being palpable in the city for the occasion of Deepotsav in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, Superintendent of Police Madhuban Singh highlighted the security arrangements for in the city on Wednesday.

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 30 (ANI): With the excitement being palpable in the city for the occasion of Deepotsav in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, Superintendent of Police Madhuban Singh highlighted the security arrangements for in the city on Wednesday.
According to Singh, Ayodhya has been divided into 14 zones and 40 sectors.
"This is the first Deepotsav after the Pran Pratishtha program of Lord Shri Ram and a large number of people are expected to come to it," he told ANI.
He further said, "Police have been deployed everywhere for security arrangements, traffic diversion has also been arranged."
Moreover, the city is going to attempt a world record by lighting up an astonishing 25 lakh diyas along the banks of the Saryu River, creating a breathtaking spectacle that symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and fosters a spirit of unity.
Visitors marvelled at the beautiful decorations around the city. One devotee expressed his delight, stating, "It's been beautifully decorated, and great arrangements have been made all over Ayodhya."
This year's Deepotsav features 18 vibrant tableaux depicting key moments from Lord Ram's life, crafted by both the Information Department and the Tourism Department.
Moreover, Ayodhya's Municipal Commissioner emphasized the scale of this year's celebrations, mentioning, "We are preparing 18 tableaux... All the tableaux are being made of degradable material."
UP Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak also expressed joy and said that the world is going to witness this divine event. He further extended best wishes to all the people of the state over the same.
"The Diwali celebration is going to scatter amazing shades in Ayodhya as Lord Ram Lalla has been consecrated in its rightful place in Ayodhya this time. The world is going to witness the event. There is going to be a world record this time as over 25 lakh diyas will be lit. I extend my wishes to the people of the entire state," said Pathak.
Deepotsav, a five-day festival, commemorates Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya after a 14-year exile. The event showcases Ayodhya's cultural and spiritual significance, attracting millions of devotees and tourists. (ANI)
