Awareness drive on plastic waste management held at J-K's Srinagar

Nandakam, a defect and inspection management application for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), was launched by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, on September 16, during the ongoing Brahmotsavam celebrations in Tirumala.

"You must have noticed that over 45 lakh people in Bihar are suffering due to devastating floods; they have no food or clean water, and lives are being lost. The Supreme Court on Thursday permitted the Delhi Forest Department to remove invasive tree species from the Central Ridge, subject to strict compliance with the approved Delhi Eco-Restoration Plan 2026-30 and oversight by the Delhi Ridge Management Board. A bench headed by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant also stayed contempt proceedings initiated by the Delhi High Court over alleged violations of its directions concerning construction, clearing, excavation and tree removal in the Ridge.
