Tengnoupal (Manipur) [India], November 10 (ANI): Assam Rifles organised medical camps in the Tengnoupal and Chandel districts of Manipur on Saturday.
According to an official release, the camps, organised in collaboration with district health authorities, conducted health check-ups alongwith providing no-cost health screenings and distributing medicines.
The camps had a dedicated team of doctors and other healthcare professionals from Assam rifles, helping around 150 people, the release mentioned.

"The camp provided free medical consultations, health screenings, and distributed essential medicines to community members, ensuring quality healthcare at no cost to the villagers," the release read.
In the camp organisaed at Phaisanjang, a total of 83 people received free health check-ups, screenings, and consultations on-site, the statement read.
"As part of these camps, the medical teams conducted thorough health screenings and provided personalized advice to attendees, emphasizing the importance of regular check-ups and timely medical care," the release added.
Assam Rifles further highlighted the importance of cancer prevention, emphasising early detection, warning signs etc.
"An awareness session on cancer prevention was held, focusing on early detection, warning signs, and lifestyle choices that can help lower cancer risks," it added.
The release further highlighted that the local residents expressed their gratitude for the services right in front of their homes. (ANI)
