Assam Rifles in Tripura organised Ex-Servicemen Rally at Agartala, Tripura displayed its unflinching commitment towards its Veer Naris, widows of bravehearts and the Veterans. The rally covered all districts of the state of Tripura with 172 ExSMs, Veer Naris and their families attending the event.

Agartala (Tripura) [India], May 25 (ANI): Assam Rifles in Tripura organised Ex-Servicemen Rally at Agartala, Tripura displayed its unflinching commitment towards its Veer Naris, widows of bravehearts and the Veterans. The rally covered all districts of the state of Tripura with 172 ExSMs, Veer Naris and their families attending the event.
The rally took place on Friday and commenced with opening remarks by Deputy Inspector General of Assam Rifles.
In his address, he welcomed all Veer Naris, Widows of bravehearts and Ex-Servicemen to the mega event. He highlighted Assam Rifle's solidarity with its fallen heroes and veterans and assured that the force remains committed to their needs and would take every step to look after them well. He also reiterated the goal of the organization to ensure them a dignified life and early resolution to their pension-related and health issues faced by them.
Some stalls were established to cater for the ESM needs and their grievances were recorded to resolve their issues on the spot. Other facilities provided were medical checkups including counselling and basic treatment by an Oncologist, Job enrollment opportunities in LIC, a Dental Checkup facility, a CSD extension counter and a State Bank of India Counter. The event concluded with the distribution of gifts to the attendees.
In a post on X, Assam Rifles said, "Lt Gen PC Nair, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, PhD, Director General of #AssamRifles and all ranks, salute the valiant soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on 25 May."
The event was indicative of Assam Rifles' commitment to honour its veterans, fallen heroes and their families for their loyalty and selfless service provided to the nation. The initiative was highly appreciated by the ExSM, Veer Naris, Widows and their families. (ANI)
