Assam Rifles inaugurates Centre of Educational Excellence for NEET aspirants

Ukhrul (Manipur) [India], October 22 (ANI): In line with the initiatives to provide state of Art Higher Education coaching facilities to aspirants, Assam Rifles inaugurated the Assam Rifles Centre of Educational Excellence (ARCEE) at Somsai in Ukhrul district.
The centre will offer coaching for girl students of all communities, from different districts of Manipur, for the prestigious National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and a career in the field of Medicine.

According to an official release, "In continuation with the initiatives to provide state of Art Higher Education coaching facilities to aspirants, Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) under the aegis of Directorate General Assam Rifles commissioned the Assam Rifles Centre of Educational Excellence (ARCEE) at Somsai, Ukhrul."
The Assam Rifles Centre of Educational Excellence (ARCEE) at Somsai, Ukhrul, was inaugurated by Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) under the supervision of Directorate General Assam Rifles as part of initiatives to offer state-of-the-art higher education coaching facilities to applicants, it said.

As per the release, the facility was inaugurated by Lt Gen PC Nair, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, PhD, Director General Assam Rifles in the presence of the attending students and their parents on 22 October 2023.
The centre is offering coaching for girl students of all communities, from different districts of Manipur, for the prestigious National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), for a career in the field of Medicine, said the release.
The centre is a residential coaching facility that not only focuses on preparing students but also on their holistic development, including career guidance and personality enhancement, it added.
The release further said that 35 Students from Meitei, Kuki, Panghal and Naga communities attending the course, were selected through a rigorous screening process.
During the interaction with the students and their parents, the Director-General Assam Rifles encouraged the students to derive maximum benefits and attain their career aspirations. He also commended the students for their camaraderie and cooperation, it said.
The DGAR in his address said that the solidarity displayed by the students is a beacon of peace and harmony during this turbulent period.
The ARCEE is a joint venture between Assam Rifles and the National Integrity & Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO) with AXIS Bank as its corporate partner, said the release. (ANI)
