New Delhi [India], December 1 (ANI): Following the attack on AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, Bharatiya Janata Party MP Manoj Tiwari on Sunday warned the people of Delhi to stay cautious of AAP chief and said that the former Delhi Chief Minister is the "king of drama."
On Saturday, a person was apprehended by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal's security staff when he attempted to throw a liquid at Kejriwal during his padyatra (journey by foot).
"Arvind Kejriwal is the king of drama. The way he has lost the trust of Delhi right now, he can do any drama... the investigation is going on. I have another fear that Arvind Kejriwal can do anything, he can even get bullets fired around him. Delhi should be cautious of Arvind Kejriwal," Manoj Tiwari said.
Meanwhile, AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar alleged that the Central government was behind the attack on the former Delhi CM.
"Arvind Kejriwal has been raising questions on the collapsed law and order situation of Delhi. Instead of improving that Amit Shah made this attack happen on Kejriwal. This is not the first time...yesterday, a BJP member threw a liquid at Kejriwal...BJP should understand that they and Amit Shah have to stop attacks, not Kejriwal," Kakkar said.
On Saturday, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Arvind Kejriwal criticised Union Home Minister Amit Shah after being attacked by a bus marshal during his 'padyatra'.
In a post on X, Kejriwal wrote, "Amit Shah Ji, what will happen by stopping me? Stop crime in Delhi. Will crime in Delhi decrease by stopping me? Will open shootouts in Delhi stop? Will the women of Delhi become safe? Will the traders of Delhi be secure?"
The incident occurred while Arvind Kejriwal was on his padyatra in Delhi's Greater Kailash area.
In October, the AAP had claimed that its convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, was attacked during a rally in the national capital, alleging that the Bharatiya Janata Party orchestrated the attack using its supporters.
The Aam Aadmi Party has intensified its efforts ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, with the party's national convenor and senior leaders focusing on voter engagement and strengthening grassroots support. (ANI)
