Danapur (Bihar) [India] September 25 (ANI): An Army soldier on Monday allegedly shot dead another soldier in a mutual dispute and later committed suicide in Bihar's Danapur Army Cantonment.

Danapur (Bihar) [India] September 25 (ANI): An Army soldier on Monday allegedly shot dead another soldier in a mutual dispute and later committed suicide in Bihar's Danapur Army Cantonment.

The deceased soldiers are identified as Santosh Singh of Bihar's Chhapra district and Rinkesh Kumar of Aarah district.

The death of both of the soldiers was confirmed by Danapur Police Station in-charge Shashi Kumar.

Kumar was posted at the Bihar Regimental Centre (BRC) Danapur, while Singh was posted in Arunachal Pradesh.

The reason behind the incident is unknown.

An investigation is underway.
