Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) [India], Sept 23 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP (Telugu Desam Party) supremo Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday announced National, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana committees of the TDP in Vijayawada on Saturday.

Chandrababu Naidu announced the committees keeping in mind the importance of discipline in the party and upcoming Assembly elections in the state.

"We use all the leaders according to their capabilities. Nobody should cross the line of discipline" said Chandrababu Naidu to party members.

"I suggest the leaders use the opportunity to serve the party. Their services will be duly recognized" he added.

Acknowledging the work done by TDP founder NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao), CM Naidu said that "Several water-related surveys and projects were done during NTR and my regime, nothing was done during ten years of Congress rule".

The Naidu government plans to end the misery in drought-stricken Rayalseema region by providing smart water grid in the area, he said.

"The state government plans to bring up the water table by stabilizing rainwater and providing rain guns for irrigation purposes. Anantpura district in Andhra has faced the worst water crisis in the state and government is trying hard to provide water in the district," the TDP supremo said.

Chandrababu Naidu discarded the accusations made by the opposition of stealing water from neighbouring state of Telangana and said "It is totally wrong. I condemn such malicious propaganda from the opposition".

Recently, TDP trounced the Nandyal by-poll elections by a huge margin of 27,466 votes against YSR Congress.(ANI)
