"An inspiration for all": CM Dhami congratulates teachers honoured with National Teachers Award

The two teachers, Principal Manjubala of Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya Churani and Training Officer Manish Mamgain of National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Dehradun, were honoured for their outstanding contributions to education and skill development.

New Delhi [India], September 5 (ANI): On the occasion of Teachers' Day, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday congratulated two teachers of his state who were honoured by President Droupadi Murmu with the National Teachers Award, 2025.
The two teachers, Principal Manjubala of Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya Churani and Training Officer Manish Mamgain of National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Dehradun, were honoured for their outstanding contributions to education and skill development.
In a post on social media X, CM Dhami, while applauding both the teachers, stated that they were an inspiration for all, and their commitment and innovation empowered the new generation.


"It is a matter of pride for us that this year, two teachers from the state have been honored by the Honorable President Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji with the National Teachers' Award 2025. Principal Smt. Manjubala Ji of Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya Churani (Champawat) and Training Officer Shri Manish Mamgain Ji of NSTI Dehradun have received this honor for their outstanding contribution to education and skill development.
"The dedication and work of both teachers are an inspiration for all. The commitment and innovation they have demonstrated in the field of education and skill development not only empowers the new generation but also gives a progressive direction to society," the post read.
Earlier in the day, the CM paid floral tribute to former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary.
The CM stated that Radhakrishnan spread the light of values, sanskars and knowledge in the society through education. His philosophy of life will always inspire us.
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan served as the second President of India, holding the office from May 13, 1962, to May 13, 1967. Born on September 5, 1888, in a small town in Andhra Pradesh, Radhakrishnan was a distinguished scholar, philosopher, and statesman whose influence has left a profound mark on India's educational and political landscape.
Radhakrishnan received his education at Christian College, Madras, and went on to serve as a professor in several renowned universities, including the University of Mysore and the University of Calcutta. His philosophical and intellectual pursuits earned him the Spalding Professorship of Eastern Religions and Ethics at the University of Oxford.
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan passed away on April 17, 1975. His birthday, September 5, is celebrated as 'Teacher's Day' in India, paying tribute to his contributions to education and philosophy. (ANI)
