Amritsar (Punjab) [India], Nov 21 (ANI): Former Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) district unit president Suresh Sharma, who was shot at here on Tuesday, is stable now. Police will examine the close circuit television (CCTV) footage in a bid to identify the assailant.

Amritsar (Punjab) [India], Nov 21 (ANI): Former Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) district unit president Suresh Sharma, who was shot at here on Tuesday, is stable now. Police will examine the close circuit television (CCTV) footage in a bid to identify the assailant.
Superintendent of Police J S Walia on Wednesday said, "Former AAP's district unit president and RTI activist Suresh Sharma, who was shot at here on Tuesday, is stable now. We will examine the CCTV footage. Further investigation is underway."
Sharma was shot at by an unidentified assailant here on Tuesday evening. He was immediately rushed to a hospital with serious injuries, where he is undergoing treatment. According to police, the unidentified assailant, who reportedly came to Sharma's furniture shop at around 6.30 pm on Tuesday, shot him thrice from close range and fled from the spot. (ANI)
