All states and UTS need to enforce complete lockdown: Lav Aggarwal

"We call upon all the students of JNU to intensify the struggle to ensure a complete lockdown from tonight. We appeal to all students to reach the Main Gate. We will March from JNU Main Gate to Vasant Kunj Police Station," JNUSU announced.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday met Rajya Sabha MP and State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party Mahendra Bhatt, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, MLA Khajan Das, and MLA Premchand Aggarwal at his official residence.

Moderated by Prof. Manindra Aggarwal, Director, IIT Kanpur, the session highlighted that states are shifting from monitoring to intervention-based governance using AI-enabled platforms. Dashboards are enabling real-time decision-making, and integrated student-teacher-school systems are replacing fragmented tools. The discussion reinforced that scaling AI will require statewide ecosystem platforms rather than standalone solutions.

Dr Arjun Dang, CEO of Dr. Dang's Lab, identified Influenza A (H3N2), Metapneumovirus, Coronaviruses, and Influenza B as the primary agents circulating in Delhi-NCR and noted that the surge is likely linked to cooler temperatures, fluctuating humidity, and rising air pollution, which often forces more people into crowded indoor spaces.

Former Cabinet Uttarakhand Minister Premchand Aggarwal, along with MLAs Khajan Das, Kishore Upadhyay, Sahdev Pundir, Asha Nautiyal, Renu Bisht, Brij Bhushan Gairola and Shakti Lal Shah, on Sunday met with Uttarakhand Chief Minister and expressed their gratitude to him for recommending a CBI inquiry in the Ankita Bhandari case.
