New Delhi [India], October 11 (ANI): Samajwadi Party's National General Secretary Professor Ram Gopal Yadav called upon Samajwadi Party workers and leaders on Friday to block the roads from Akhilesh Yadav's residence in Lucknow to Jaiprakash Narayan Convention Center.
Speaking to ANI, Ram Gopal Yadav said that last year also Akhilesh Yadav was stopped, at that time also this question had come up. At the time, he had to go over the gate to garland Jai Prakash Naryan. There was a discussion across the country, what is this problem that BJP has with anyone garlanding the statue of Jai Prakash Narayan?"
Further, he said that it has not been understood till date on why this has been an issue.
"It has not been understood till date. This time these people have surrounded the whole house. The road outside the convention center has been blocked with tin so that no one can go. This is the narrow mentality of the administration. A personality like Jai Prakash is born after ages. Such a great freedom fighter to whom the Government of India has already given Bharat Ratna. Not allowing garlands to be offered on his statue is a very shoddy and shameful act of the Uttar Pradesh government. The people of the whole of India are thinking today that they have nothing to do with those who fought for freedom. Nor do they have any respect. This is an insult to all the freedom fighters of the country," he further said.
Ram Gopal said that the workers of the party should block the roads from the convention center ad further added that the Uttar Pradesh CM was moving towards viparta buddhi.
"I want all the workers of Samajwadi Party in Lucknow and nearby areas to block all the roads from the convention center to Akhilesh Yadav's house. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is moving towards viparita buddhi. Whatever happens in Uttar Pradesh is done by one or two people sitting at the top, the administration itself cannot do anything. The advisors of the Chief Minister do not give any correct advice to the Chief Minister due to fear. The workers of Samajwadi Party should do the work of waking up the blind deaf government of UP," he said.
