All political parties should speak in one voice against terrorism: VP Naidu

New Delhi [India], Sep 29 (ANI): Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on Friday urged political parties to speak in one voice against terrorism.

Naidu requested politicos to not try and earn 'brownie points' from such sensitive issues.

"Political parties within the country should speak in one voice, they shouldn't try to score brownie political points," Naidu said.

"We should educate and enlighten people on evil effects of terrorism. I believe every country should speak in one voice in this issue. Religion is used to mislead the younger generation, we should be wary of this. Terrorism has no religion, caste, creed," he added.

Naidu further said that it is the ballot which is powerful than bullet in democracy and this has been widely proven.

"A bullet can never bring change and even if does, it will not sustain," he said. (ANI)
