Air India launches 'retrofit program' to modernise A320neo fleet

Air India has announced the beginning of their 'retrofit program' in order to enhance and modernise all their existing A320neo aircraft, taking an important step in their transformation journey.

New Delhi [India], September 17 (ANI): Air India has announced the beginning of their 'retrofit program' in order to enhance and modernise all their existing A320neo aircraft, taking an important step in their transformation journey.
Taking to social media platform X, Air India stated that by mid-2025, they will feature modernised cabins with spacious seating, refreshed interiors, and advanced inflight features like USB ports in all of their existing A320neo aircraft.

"We are excited to announce the commencement of Air India's fleet retrofit program, an important step in our transformation journey. By mid-2025, all our existing A320neo aircraft will feature modernised cabins with spacious seating, refreshed interiors, and advanced inflight features like USB ports, meeting the evolving expectations of today's travellers," Air India said in X.

This move was made by the commercial airline carrier to meet evolving expectations of travellers these days. (ANI)
