Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria joined the alumni of 1976 of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector- 47, for the Golden Jubilee Alumni meet at the school campus today to celebrate 50 years of Friendship and Memories in the Union Territory of Chandigarh.

Chandigarh [India], January 19 (ANI): Former Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria joined the alumni of 1976 of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector- 47, for the Golden Jubilee Alumni meet at the school campus on January 18 to celebrate 50 years of Friendship and Memories in the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
It was a resounding success, bringing together alumni from across the country, teachers and staff members. It was a nostalgic trip down memory lane with the alumni reconnecting and sharing anecdotes of their school days.
According to a press release, the event started with the scouts escorting the alumni and a warm welcome speech by the Principal, who highlighted the school's achievements and expressed gratitude to the alumni for their continued support.
The attending alumni introduced themselves, and it was inspiring for the students to hear the motivational words from the distinguished alumni who shared how the school's values and guidance laid the foundation for professional success. Many alumni credited the school's emphasis on holistic development, discipline and extracurricular activities for shaping their careers. Dr Manjit Brar, former Principal of a College, said, " The teacher 's encouragement to explore and read helped me understand concepts, building confidence and pursue my passion of teaching."

The former Chief of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria PVSM, AVSM, VM, ADC, a proud alumnus, shared his experiences and emphasised the importance of knowledge, discipline and hard work to reach the Top position.
As per the release, the Alumni took a trip down memory lane, revisiting the old classrooms and reliving cherished moments. They reminisced about their favourite teachers, friends and memories made within those walls. The friendly Hockey match led by Brigadier Jatinder S Arora and Bhadauria, with participation of the alumni and the students, was followed by a Group photograph.
Alumni Mukul Bansal, a successful entrepreneur, delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks expressing appreciation for Alumnus Dr Rakesh Gupta, Former DHS Punjab, Capt Pradeep Gupta and Dr Inderjit S Kang for coordinating with the Principal and all alumni in making the event memorable. The event strengthened bonds amongst the alumni and celebrated the school's legacy. (ANI)
