Advani suffering from viral fever, no flag-hoisting at his residence tomorrow

New Delhi [India], Aug 14 (ANI): Senior BJP leader L K Advani is suffering from viral fever and therefore no flag-hoisting ceremony will be held tomorrow at his residence on the occasion of Independence Day, his office said on Wednesday.

New Delhi [India], Aug 14 (ANI): Senior BJP leader L K Advani is suffering from viral fever and therefore no flag-hoisting ceremony will be held tomorrow at his residence on the occasion of Independence Day, his office said on Wednesday.
"This is to inform you that L K Advaniji has been running viral fever for the last five days, as such there will be no Flag Hoisting programme this year on August 15, 2019, at his residence 30, Prithviraj Road, New Delhi," a statement issued by his office read.
The 91-year-old former deputy prime minister and co-founder of the BJP had on August 7 visited the residence of former external affairs minister late Sushma Swaraj to pay his last respects.
The Padma Vibhushan awardee had joined the BJP Marg Darshak Mandal post the party's win in 2014 Lok Sabha elections. (ANI)
