Adhaar important to eliminate middlemen, corruption: Vice President Naidu

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India] Oct. 17 (ANI): Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday asserted that the Adhaar card is very important as it will eliminate middlemen and corruption.
"Aadhaar card is very much required as it will eliminate middlemen and corruption. We should really strengthen this. I am happy people are enrolling in it," Naidu said, while addressing the gathering on the occasion of the 90th anniversary celebrations of Andhra Chamber of Commerce.
He also hailed the government's digitisation move and asked people to support it for the betterment of the country.
"Digitisation is very important, everybody should support the government. This is for the betterment of the world," he said.
"This is the way forward and we have to moves like that in our live in order to make strong, stable, prosperous nation. That is what is expected to be done," he added. (ANI)
