Protem Speaker Chetan Tupe, on Thursday, declared that an investigation will be conducted and action will be initiated against those shouting slogans from the press gallery of the Legislative Assembly.

Nagpur (Maharashtra) [India], December 14 (ANI): Protem Speaker Chetan Tupe, on Thursday, declared that an investigation will be conducted and action will be initiated against those shouting slogans from the press gallery of the Legislative Assembly.

Referring to the incident when the House was in session, BJP's chief whip MLA Adv Ashish Shelar raised doubts about the kind of security in the Assembly.
Raising concern about the issue, BJP MLA Shelar said, "After what happened in Parliament yesterday, someone just walks to the press gallery of the Legislative Assembly, gestures towards the Speaker and shouts slogans? Who is this person? How did they get entry to the Assembly?"
"How were they able to breach the security of the Legislative Assembly? Shelar further raised these questions and demanded an immediate investigation into the matter.
Acting on the demand, Protem Speaker Chetan Tupe ordered for an inquiry against the culprits who shouted slogans during the Maharashtra assembly winter session. (ANI)
