ABVP announces poll Committee for Delhi University Students Union elections

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Delhi State President Tapan Bihari has been appointed as the Chairman for the DUSU election committee.

New Delhi [India], September 8 (ANI): RSS-affiliated student wing the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Sunday announced its election committee for the upcoming Delhi University Students' Union elections.
The election committee will take election related decisions including the selection of candidates of ABVP for contesting election, according to a press release from ABVP.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Delhi State President Tapan Bihari has been appointed as the Chairman for the DUSU election committee.
Other members include ABVP National Girls' Coordinator Manu Sharma Kataria, National Secretary Shivangi Kharwal, Delhi State Secretary Harsh Attri, State Organizing Secretary Ram Kumar, State Joint Organizing Secretary Vipin Uniyal, DUSU President Tushar Dedha, DUSU Secretary Aprajita and North Zone pramukh Lalit Pandey.
ABVP Delhi State President Tapan Bihari stated, "The election committee has started discussing the names of potential candidates for DUSU elections. Like previous years, this year's 'DUSU in Campus' Campaign has received a positive response from the students. ABVP over the years has consistently represented the students and stood firmly with them for their concerns and rights. We will announce the names of potential candidates soon."
Delhi State Secretary, Harsh Attri stated, "ABVP units across the university campus are actively connecting with students and sharing the work of outgoing ABVP led DUSU and seeking their feedback and suggestions for the upcoming manifesto. We have received a massive positive feedback from the students. With this election committee being formed, discussions have begun and we will soon release names of potential candidates."
The date for Students' Union polls is scheduled for September 27. (ANI)
