Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], February 8 (ANI): With the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) set to return to power in Delhi after 27 years, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took a jibe at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), dubbing its exit the "AAP-da government" and blaming it for a decade of 'destruction."
Speaking to the media, on Delhi election reults, Uttarakhand CM Dhami said, "This is the victory of PM Modi's guarantee...PM Modi does what he says...the AAP-Da government will be leaving after 10 years of destruction which they have done here...The people have selected a double-engine government for themselves..."
Further in a post on X (formerly Twitter), Dhami credited the win to the relentless efforts of BJP workers under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. He stated that the result reflects the people's rejection of the "AAP-Da" government.
"Sunrise of development and public welfare in Delhi! Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the dedicated workers and people of Delhi on the historic victory of BJP in the Delhi Assembly elections."
"As a result of the tireless efforts of all the hard-working workers under the visionary leadership of the respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, the lotus of development has bloomed in Delhi,"
"This golden victory is dedicated to the BJP's ideology of development and upliftment by the God-like people, rejecting the policies of the corrupt AAP-Da government mired in scams. This clear mandate is going to pave the way for the all-round and comprehensive development of Delhi," he said further in the post.

While, AAP is ahead on 22, having won 17 and leading on five seats. Congress has failed to even open its account in the Delhi elections for the third straight time.
BJP workers and supporters have already started celebrating outside the party's office in New Delhi foreseeing a comeback in the national capital government after a long wait.
