7 injured after bus skids off road in Chhattisgarh

Kurud (Chhattisgarh) [India], Aug 25 (ANI): Seven people were injured after a bus they were travelling in skidded off the road in National Highway near Kurud town in Chhattisgarh's Dhantari district on Sunday.

Kurud (Chhattisgarh) [India], Aug 25 (ANI): Seven people were injured after a bus they were travelling in skidded off the road in National Highway near Kurud town in Chhattisgarh's Dhantari district on Sunday.
Superintendent of Police (SP), Balaji Rao Somawar, "The bus which met with an accident was carrying 24 passengers from Raipur to Jagdalpur."
According to the police, the accident happened in an attempt to save a biker after which the bus driver lost the control.
People who sustained injuries in the accident were rushed to a nearby hospital in the city, the police said.
Further investigation is underway. (ANI)
