4.2-magnitude earthquake jolts Manipur

Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh distributed subsidies to 2,835 eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme at Yumnam Leikai Yumjao Lairembi Lampak, Imphal, this morning, in connection with the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as per the release.

The Supreme Court on Thursday sought a comprehensive report from the Manipur Chief Secretary on 25 unnatural deaths reported in relief camps, including an alleged sexual assault incident.

Both men were directly involved in the August 22 firing on Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel at Lamlong Bazar and the September 10 attack on CRPF troops at Khonghampat.
