40-year-old woman Doctor stabbed at her clinic in Delhi

A 40-year-old woman doctor was allegedly stabbed in her clinic in Delhi's Tagore Garden Extension by an unidentified assailant on Saturday, police said.

New Delhi [India], October 1 (ANI): A 40-year-old woman doctor was allegedly stabbed in her clinic in Delhi's Tagore Garden Extension by an unidentified assailant on Saturday, police said.
The victim has been identified as Dr Sangay Bhutia.
Police said that a person came to Bhutia's clinic and attacked her with a knife on the staircase of the building in which she runs the clinic on the ground floor and has a residence on the upper floors.
"The attacker absconded from the spot after the attack," DCP West Vichitra Veer said.
He further mentioned that as per the initial information, the victim has more than one stab injury and she has been shifted to hospital and is under treatment.
A case of attempt to murder is being registered and multiple teams have been formed to apprehend the accused.
Further investigation is underway. (ANI)
