4 terrorists gunned down in J-K's Rajouri

Rajouri, (Jammu and Kashmir) [India] Mar 28 (ANI): Four terrorists were gunned down in an encounter with the security forces in Sunderbani area of Rajouri district on Wednesday.

"4 terrorists killed in a joint operation in Sunderbani Rajouri. It was a group recently infiltrated from LOC," said Director General of Police, SP Vaid.

Also, Rajouri Deputy Commissioner Shahid Choudhary tweeted out regular updates in regard to the number of terrorists killed in the encounter.

"Sunderbani encounter: 3 terrorists killed as per reports. Forces on the job for suspected 4th," he wrote and later posted "4th as well."

Earlier in the day, as a precautionary measure, he tweeted, "All Schools in Sunderbani sub-division have been ordered to be closed for today".

Reportedly, the security forces are conducting a search operation to flush out more possible terrorists hiding to avoid detection.

Earlier on March 25, a Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist was gunned down in Budgam.(ANI)
