4 children drown in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the incident. "CM Yogi expressed grief over the death of children who drowned in the Ken River of the Banda district. He has directed officials to provide compensation to the kin of the deceased", an official statement said.

Banda (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 30 (ANI): Four children died after slipping into the Ken river in Singhankala village in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda district.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the incident. "CM Yogi expressed grief over the death of children who drowned in the Ken River of the Banda district. He has directed officials to provide compensation to the kin of the deceased", an official statement said. 
The children a group of seven were travelling in a boat that overturned in the river, the police said earlier today.  
While two children were rescued by local villagers, bodies of four children have been recovered from the river. One child is still missing, the police added.
