33-yr-old DMRC employee jumps to death from Metro Bhawan

New Delhi [India], Mar 25 (ANI): A 33-year-old employee of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), Mahesh Prajapati, allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the seventh floor of the Metro Bhawan here. The security guard on Monday discovered his body.

Police have not yet recovered any suicide note. The missing report of the deceased was registered at Barakhamba Police station on March 23.

New Delhi [India], Mar 25 (ANI): A 33-year-old employee of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), Mahesh Prajapati, allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the seventh floor of the Metro Bhawan here. The security guard on Monday discovered his body.
Police have not yet recovered any suicide note. The missing report of the deceased was registered at Barakhamba Police station on March 23. Police said that Mahesh was last seen on March 22. As per the CCTV footage of Metro Bhawan, he was seen moving towards the stairs on the seventh floor.
Mahesh Prajapati was a native of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. He was residing in Govindpuri, and was working as a maintenance fitter in the DMRC. Police said he was tense and depressed for some time because of a dispute with his wife.
According to police, Mahesh married Priya in December 2018. Since then, he had been having a dispute with his wife Priya, who left him on January 15 and started living separately. (ANI)
