310 proposals for development schemes issued so far: CM Dhami

According to a notification, CM Dhami, two years ago, invited all the MLAs of the state to submit proposals for 10 comprehensive public interest development schemes for their respective assembly constituencies.

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], September 12 (ANI): Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, so far, has issued orders for more than 310 proposals for comprehensive public interest development schemes, per an official release from CMO.
According to the release, CM Dhami, two years ago, invited all the MLAs of the state to submit proposals for 10 comprehensive public interest development schemes for their respective assembly constituencies.
In response to CM Dhami's call, MLAs from all parties submitted about 700 proposals. So far, Chief Minister Dhami has issued orders for more than 310 of these proposals. Out of these 310 plus announcements, more than 90 announcements relate to areas represented by MLAs from opposition parties, the notification stated.
The Chief Minister's vision coincides with the goal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas" and to make the 21st century the century of Uttarakhand, the release added.
To ensure timely implementation of these projects, the Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, RK Sudhanshu has given strict instructions to all the departmental secretaries to fulfill announcements made in the proposals invited from the MLAs.
On Wednesday, CM Dhami thanked PM Modi for approving the health coverage for all senior citizens aged 70 years and above.
"Thank you Modiji! The decision of the Central Government under the able leadership of the respected Prime Minister @narendramodi ji to benefit all citizens above 70 years of age under the Ayushman Yojana is highly commendable. This decision will certainly provide quality and accessible health services to the elderly," said on X. (ANI)
