3 held for stabbing sub-inspector in New Delhi

New Delhi [India], Mar 21 (ANI): A Delhi police sub-inspector was allegedly stabbed here on Thursday and three persons have been arrested in this connection, police said.

New Delhi [India], Mar 21 (ANI): A Delhi police sub-inspector was allegedly stabbed here on Thursday and three persons have been arrested in this connection, police said.
The sub-inspector identified as Amit Kumar has been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. 
"The sub-inspector was stabbed when he visited Rajouri Garden along with his friends. Meanwhile, a quarrel ensued with some locals, following which, they stabbed him in a fit of rage," police said. 
Soon after receiving information of the incident, police rushed to the spot and arrested three persons in this regard. 
"We have made three arrests in this case and the accused has been identified as Paras, Angrej Singh and Anand Singh," the police official said. 
An FIR has been registered under relevant sections 307/34 (Criminal act done by several persons) of the Indian Penal Code. 
Further investigation is underway. (ANI)
