Gurugram ( Haryana) [India], December 12 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that 19 public issues were resolved on the spot on Thursday, emphasising that public service remains his top priority.
CM Saini shared that a total of 23 complaints were received, out of which 19 were addressed immediately, while four complaints were kept pending for further investigation by concerned authorities.
"Today we received a total of 23 complaints from the public, out of which 19 complaints were resolved on the spot. 4 complaints have been kept pending for which orders have been given for investigation...Some matters have also come up regarding hoardings and publicity...We have directed to make a policy regarding this ...", he told reporters.
Earlier on Thursday, CM Saini chaired a meeting of the district public relations and Grievances Redressal Committee in Gurugram.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), CM Saini said, "The public is the master and we are the servants of the public. As the chief servant, public service is my priority. Instructed the officers to resolve the problems immediately"

He also reiterated his stance on corruption, adding, "Corruption will not be tolerated at all in the state and not a single corrupt person will be spared."
On Thursday, CM Saini also commented on the proposed 'One Nation, One Election' bill reflecting the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He claimed that public funds had been misused in previous elections, with frequent elections occurring every 3-4 months.
Speaking to reporters, CM Saini said, "It was Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision. He proposed that elections should be conducted under the 'One Nation, One Election' framework. Previously, public money was misused during elections. Frequent elections, held every 3-4 months, also hampered the pace of development as the Model Code of Conduct would come into effect repeatedly. I welcome this decision as it will reduce the financial burden on the exchequer." (ANI)
