16 RPF, RPSF personnel awarded President's Police Medal

A total of 16 Railway Protection Force/Railway Protection Security Force personnel have been awarded the President's Police Medal for distinguished services and meritorious services on the occasion of 75th Republic Day, the Railways Ministry said on Thursday.

New Delhi [India], January 25 (ANI): A total of 16 Railway Protection Force/Railway Protection Security Force personnel have been awarded the President's Police Medal for distinguished services and meritorious services on the occasion of 75th Republic Day, the Railways Ministry said on Thursday.
Ranveer Singh Chauhan, Principal Chief Security Commissioner, Banaras Locomotive Works has been awarded the President's President's Police Medal for Distinguished Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM).
Also, a total of 15 Railway Protection Force/Railway Protection Security Force have been awarded the Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM).
"Vivek Sagar, Deputy Inspector General, Railway Protection Special Force, Maheshwar Singh, Deputy Inspector General/Projects/NR, Railway Board, Rajeev Kumar, Assistant Security Commissioner, Northern Railway, Dasrath Prasad, Inspector/North Eastern Railway, Ramesh Chandra, Inspector/ 6BN RPSF, Sushant Dubey, Sub-Inspector, East Central Railway, Bijendra Kumar Rai, Sub-Inspector, JJR RPF Academy have been awarded Medal for Meritorious Service," an official statement issued by Ministry of Railways said.
Kundan Lal Verma, Sub-Inspector, JJR RPF Academy Rakesh Kumar Singh, Assistant Sub-Inspector, North Eastern Railway, Ramesh Chand Singh, Assistant Sub-Inspector, North Eastern Railway, Kuldip, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Western Railway, Muhammad Sajid Siddiqui, Head Constable, North Eastern Railway, Alamgir Hossain, Head Constable, Eastern Railway, Manoj Lohara, Head Constable, Eastern Railway, Satbir Singh, Constable, Barber, 12BN RPSF have also been awarded Medal for Meritorious Service.
Earlier, the Central Government on Thursday announced the selection of 1,132 personnel of police, fire service, home guard and civil defence and correctional service for gallantry and service medals on the occasion of this year's Republic Day. (ANI)
