New Delhi [India], July 30 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Aparajita Sarangi on Tuesday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address in the Lok Sabha during the debate on Operation Sindoor, stating that the speech effectively conveyed the details of the operation to the people of the country.
"We all heard him speak, and after hearing him, I think we are all speechless...I think all 140 crore people got to know everything about Operation Sindoor," Sarangi told ANI.
The BJP MP said that the ruling side comprehensively presented the various aspects of the operation.
"All our senior leaders presented their perspectives quite well. I was a member of the Operation Sindoor (global outreach) delegation. I think every aspect of Operation Sindoor was presented very well by the ruling side," she said.
Calling the Prime Minister's address "inspiring," Sarangi said the Opposition had been exposed.
"I think PM's speech will keep inspiring us for days to come. The mask of the Opposition parties has been taken off. Congress should self-introspect; today, they spoke what they should not have spoken. I think all their ignorance would have been washed away with PM Modi's speech today," she added.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi took a swipe at the Opposition, accusing it of repeatedly finding new excuses to oppose military operations, including Operation Sindoor, which was launched following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
Speaking in the Lok Sabha, the Prime Minister said the entire country is "laughing" at the Opposition, particularly targeting the Congress for what he called its history of questioning the armed forces.
"Terrorists are crying, their masterminds are crying and seeing them cry, some people are crying here too. They tried to play a game during the surgical strike; it didn't work. During the airstrike, they tried playing another game. That didn't work either. When Operation Sindoor took place, they adopted a new tactic--"Why did you stop?"...Waah re bayan bahaduron! You need one or the other excuse to oppose. So, not just me but the entire country is laughing at you," the Prime Minister said. (ANI)
