Tej Pratap's petrol pump employees say 'haven't received any notice' to shut down
New Delhi [India], July 21 (ANI): Even after the Patna court terminated Bihar Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav's Bharat Petroleum license, the pump's employees on Friday said they have not received any notice regarding the same. "We have not got any information. We came on duty at 7. We have not got any notice yet. How can we close the petrol pump?" the manager of the Petrol Pump told ANI. Yesterday, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushil Kumar Modi asserted that a Bharat Petroleum petrol pump on Bihar Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav's name would not belong to him anymore. "A Bharat Petroleum petrol pump which is on Tej Pratap Yadav's name was allotted illegally to him. He has wrongfully managed to acquire a licence for a petrol pump in the state. We have referred this issue for arbitration and inquiry is on. Today onwards that (Bharat Petroleum) petrol pump will not belong to Tej Pratap Yadav anymore." Modi later took to his Twitter and shared the court's order. Earlier in the week, Tej Pratap Yadav's petrol pump licence was terminated after a Patna court vacated the interim stay on execution of a Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) order. Media reports said that Tej Pratap challenged the oil firm order in the court, which granted an ex-parte temporary injunction, restraining the BPCL from causing obstruction to the plaintiff till he appears and files his say to application for temporary injunction. On May 3, the BPCL had issued a notice to Tej Pratap, seeking an explanation on the petrol pump licence and asked him to reply within 15 days. Tej Pratap had applied for the licence in 2012 and the retail outlet was commissioned to Lara Automobiles, represented by him as its proprietor, on February 27 this year. (ANI)
