Pankaja Munde has always abused power: NCP
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Oct. 9 (ANI): The Nationalist Congress Party accused Maharashtra State Minister and BJP leader Pankaja Munde of continuously misusing her power after an audio clip surfaced in which she is purportedly heard "threatening" a priest of the Bhagwangad hill shrine in Ahmednaagr district to allow her to make a speech on Dussehra. "The way Maharashtra Minister Pankaja Mundey is threatening people that we are in power, and we can send anyone to the jail, or frame them in cases, is not a new thing. Earlier as well she has misused her power and created trouble for some people," NCP leader Nawab Malik told ANI. "When we commented on their power abuse, they registered a case to the Women Commission and their 'Mahila Morcha' director who is also the chairperson of Women Commission, sent us three notices; and after we replied and backed out, they stopped the matter," he added. Malik further demanded Munde's removal from the ministerial post saying, "The way she is threatening mahantji is dangerous. So, we demand that she should be removed from her post immediately." He added that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is supporting the corrupt ministers in his party. "There are 22 corrupt ministers in the 22-month-long government and the Chief Minister is supporting all their misdoings and which is increasing the moral of the ministers. We believe the state should run by law and if the Bharatiya Janata Party wants to run the state as per their will then public will teach them the lesson." "Many of their ministers are involved in scam; many are being investigated by the Central bureau of investigation (CBI) team, Many have charge sheet filed against them, if such ministers will be supported the of course they do as they please," he said(ANI)
