Don't want to comment on 'tainted' people: Katiyar on Vadra's remark
New Delhi [India], Feb. 3 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vinay Katiyar on Friday hit back at Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra for his jibe directed at him and said that he would not like to make any comment on tainted people. "Whatever party feels, they are doing it. It is the party's decision. I really don't want to comment on such people. Why to comment on tainted people?" Katiyar told ANI. Taking on the BJP, Vadra earlier said that it was 'shocking' to see Katiyar's name in the list of star campaigners for Uttar Pradesh "Really shocks me to see a name in star campaigner list with tainted past and who completely disrespects women with his comments. God save us!" Vadra said in a tweet. Katiyar courted controversy on January 25, after he said that there were "prettier star campaigners" in his party when Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was named the Congress' star campaigner for Uttar Pradesh.
