'Talk to AK' nothing but marketing gimmick: BJP
New Delhi, July 17 (ANI): Taking a potshot at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's interactive session, titled 'Talk to AK', the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday said it was nothing more than a marketing gimmick. Speaking to ANI, BJP leader Satish Upadhayay said there should be an award called 'The Biggest Bluffmaster', adding that the credit of lying would definitely go to Kejriwal. "You said you have saved money in flyovers. There can be no bigger lie than this. I want to appeal to the people of Delhi to take out an RTI to know what its earlier design was and what change took place later on. There are many awards being given in India. There should be one award called 'The Biggest Bluffmaster'. The credit of lying will definitely go to Arvind Kejriwal. I think 'Talk to AK' is nothing but marketing and gimmicks," he added. Escalating his attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor, Upadhyay said the session was a pre-scripted program of the camouflage the party did in the last one and a half years and 49 days. "Earlier, they held the Janta Durbar.few people went up the wall of the Secretariat and after that it didn't continue. It's not a real time programme. Through this programme, they are trying to do advertising in the nation. They are doing marketing by bringing in Dadlani," he added. Upadhyay advised Kejriwal to sit in any of the big stadiums of Delhi and hold a live question and answer session with the people if he really wants to know their queries. "If you really want to know the people's queries, sit in either the IG stadium or any of the big stadiums in Delhi and hold a live question and answer session. You are taking only those questions in 48 hours which will popularize your image. You didn't do anything tangible for education," he added. In the 'Talk to AK' programme, Kejriwal earlier today talked about the Delhi Government's work and initiatives taken by it. He said the government has saved taxpayer's money and stopped 'donation' trend to get admission in schools. The Chief Minister also touched upon subjects like 'mohalla clinic', electricity bill, compensation to farmers, hoarding of pulses. Kejriwal promised of portable water in every household in Delhi by December 2017 and also 1000 'mohalla clinics' to be ready in Delhi by December. Kejriwal also said that the AAP-led government has done a lot of work and there is no doubt about it, but there are a lot of problems that they face, adding that there are a number of bills passed by the Delhi Assembly but the Central Government is not giving a nod to them.
