JW Marriott expands footprints; to open property in Maldives

New Delhi [India], May 5 (ANI): JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts continues to expand its presence in Asia Pacific region with the opening of the JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa.

Slated to open in Q4 2018, the property promises a sophisticated retreat, yet culturally integrated, within the paradise island nation. With the introduction of JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, the JW Marriott brand now has nearly 40 hotels and resorts in the Asia Pacific region.

Set on the stunning island of Vagaru, Shaviyani Atoll, JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa will be the perfect destination for leisure travelers to experience 'a piece of heaven on earth'.

The resort features 61 beach and overwater villas each with its own private pool and other modern amenities. Guests can explore distinct culinary options at the property's multiple F&B venues.

The dining options include, the all-day dining restaurant Kaage serving an international fanfare of culinary delights from around the world with the Wine Room being its own oenology of both new and old world wines, Raha offering the freshest Italian ingredients, Rum Bar & Kitchen with tantalizing Thai tapas street food, Farumas the delicacies of Japanese Teppanyaki from both below and above the water line, and Lonu offering the luxuries of succulent crustaceans and prime aged grain fed cuts.

The master mixologists, at the KoBaar, Rum Bar or overwater watering hole, will concoct exotic cocktails and mocktails, from early till late. Lounge 18, is home to a Cigar Room, Shisha Room, an insulated Karaoke venue and a selection of classic and today's sought-after games providing hours of entertainment.

The property will feature JW Marriott's new branded spa concept, Spa by JW. The spa offers bespoke treatments and a range of classic spa rituals, promising an environment of harmony and wellness, with a royal treatment suite and six treatment rooms. Additional facilities within the spa, include a unisex salon, yoga pavilion and gym.

Another signature branded concept at JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa is the, Kid's Club by JW, which will have play areas, an arts and craft area, individual reading and sleep corners, an educational Fauna and Flora corner and a server with wholesome and healthy foods. The Kid's Keepers will speak and array of languages, ensuring that the younger guests remain active whilst receiving educational experiences.
