PM Narendra Modi

New Delhi [India], May 25 (ANI): Meme lords have once again taken social media by storm and this time, the theme is the result of the 2019 general elections.
With the official count in the Lok Sabha elections over on Friday, the BJP secured 303 seats, 22 more than in the 2014 elections, and registered a euphoric win in the books of history.
Meme artists took this as an opportunity to supply a fresh batch of steaming hot memes, puns, and jokes. From comparing Indian politicians to 'Game of Thrones' characters to taking a jibe at Farhan Akhtar's late reaction tweet, memesters left no stone unturned.
Putting an end to Amethi's relationship with Congress, Smriti Irani emerged as the star of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls after winning from the constituency considered a bastion of the Gandhi family for decades. This served as the perfect raw material for some hilarious memes.
In reference to Smriti's epic victory, a user tweeted a still of the 'GoT' scene where Arya Stark kills the night king. Replacing Arya's face with Smriti's and titling the Night King as Gandhi dynasty, the user wrote, "She did it."

Taking a jibe at her television show 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahi Thi', a user wrote, "Winning Amethi would be Smriti Irani's second-best achievement after bringing Mihir back to life."
Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi's failed attempt at resigning from the post of Congress president, a user wrote, "When you want to follow your passion but your parents don't let you quit your job."

Farhan Akhtar, who was recently trolled for his tweet asking people not to vote for Sadhvi Pragya after elections in Bhopal concluded, also made an appearance in some of the tweets.
"News just in: Farhan Akhtar is not happy with the opinion polls," a user wrote.
Posting a picture in which GoT's Jamie Lannister can be seen Knighting Brienne of Tarth, a user wrote, "Amit Shah appointing Smriti Irani as a Knight of Amethi."

Actor-turned-politician and BJP candidate from Gurdaspur Sunny Deol also made it to the list of winners as he scored a thumping win from his parliamentary constituency on Thursday.
Referring to his classic Bollywood film 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' a Twitter user wrote, "BREAKING: Imran Khan calls PM Narendra Modi to congratulate him. Makes a special request "Baaki sab to theek hai wo Sunny Deol ko Defence Minister mat bana dena pls " #ElectionResults2019."
One of the best meme, hands down, came from Smiriti Irani herself. The BJP candidate from Uttar Pradesh's Amethi constituency, after defeating the Congress president, summed up her success in a quote from the ultra-popular series.
Sharing a silhouette picture of a dire wolf on the backdrop of the moon, she quoted a famous catchphrase from the series: "The North Remembers".
