New Delhi [India], Apr 10 (ANI): Are you a visitor who just can't keep his or her eyes off the catching interiors? Does a place with bright colors and out-of-the-box interiors a perfect one to set your mood right? If yes, then 'Cafe Yell' located in the very posh defence colony market is just the place for you and your friends to relax, and gorge on some excellent Continental and Italian cuisine. With sitting of up to 20 to 25 patrons altogether, this L shaped compact sized place defines authenticity in terms of amazing food and splendid innovation on the ambiance. Bolstering colorful and quirky interiors, Cafe Yell has spools and darns, tailors' scissor, big colorful buttons and old sewing machines all over its walls. Also, the place has lamps made out of recycled wooden coat hangers that support the concept of vogue perfectly for this place. A concept by Vipul and Divya Gupta, the cafe is situated right above its parent, Yell, a fashion label started by the duo. "We at Cafe Yell want to provide the same high levels of finesse and service that we are known for in our apparel business - Yell; as a matter of fact, this new venture's interiors are inspired from fashion," believes Divya. However, Vipul believes that as a neighborhood cafe, it's a passion to replicate the ritual and romance of a European coffeehouse where friends gather to enjoy conversation. "We want to create a warm and creative space where people can hangout and connect, gorge over our delicious pizzas and signature home-made desserts and listen to good music," adds Vipul. Specializing in Italian delicacy, Cafe Yell offers a combination of lip smacking snacks and meals. Distinctively prepared and served, the presentation of food at this cafe adds to the beauty of dishes. Items such as Yell Nachos, Aglio E Olio with pasta, Fish Fingers, Spring Fling, Peri Peri Grilled Chicken, Rosemary Garlic Bread, Penne Alfredo, Classic Polo Burger and Bruschetta are a must have if you are visiting the place for the first time. Accompanying these dishes, one can sip into the Watermelon Mojito, Kit Kat Caramel shake and Fresh Lime Mojito. If you want to binge on the typical 'roti sabzi' category, the place also offers the 'Yell Meal', under which one should definitely try the hunter style Laal Maas with Malabar Paratha. However, the Dal Makhani served here could have been better, but the soft Malabar Paratha makes it drool worthy. With the USP of interiors and most humble staff, this place is definitely to spoil you with their choices of desserts. The Yell Cookie Blast is sure to blast out the happiness once tasted. Also, the Blueberry cheesecake was exceptional as it supported my challenging sweet tooth. Overall, the place is convincing enough as it scored high on our expectations, and the bar of value for money. This place deserves a recommendation not only because it's reasonably priced but because the food served here is just exceptional. Place: Cafe Yell Timings: 8 AM to 11 PM Cost for two: Rs. 1,000 for two (approx.) Address: 35, Ground Floor, Defence Colony Market, New Delhi. (ANI)
