Every year a message from an outstanding choreographer or dancer is circulated throughout the world. The author of the message is selected by the International Dance Committee of ITI and the Executive Council of ITI. The message is translated into numerous languages and circulated globally.

Circular Design Challenge (CDC) celebrated its fifth year since its inception at Lakme Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. To celebrate this milestone, CDC hosted a special showcase by three of its alumni - labels Chamar, Doodlage-Made from Waste and Iro Iro on Thursday.

As the harvest season draws near, preparations are afoot to celebrate it through the Lohri, Makar Sankranti, Pongal, and Bihu festivities. In Tamil Nadu, the harvest season is marked through the Pongal festival. The second of the four-day celebrations, Thai Pongal, which falls on the first day of the Tamil Solar Calendar's 'Thai' month, coincides with Makar Sankranti, which is observed in the country's north. Thai Pongal falls on January 15 this year, on a Sunday.

A new study has found that including climate impact labels on a sample fast food menu influenced participants' food choices in favour of more climate-friendly items. The study was led by a researcher at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
