McDonald's today announced two variants in its lunch menu, Spicy Rice and Cheesy Rice, it is expected that more variants will be added in future.
McDonald's is well-known for shaping its menu according to the country it operates in, the classic McAloo Tikki burger in India is one such example. Rice is a staple food for people across the country and can serve as a nutritious and filling meal option.

The meal will be available in both non-vegetarian and vegetarian options, starting at Rupees 129. The item will be made using basmati rice and veggies like carrots, onions, zucchini, peas and corn tossed in a tomato, beans and cheese gravy.
