Washington D.C. [USA], May 25 (ANI): Wine preferences reveal a lot about an individual's personality traits, a recent study has claimed.
Researchers say that if a person prefers their white wine, they are more likely to like punk music, be night owls and extroverts. Whereas, red wine drinkers are more of a wine aficionado, early birds and jazz lovers.
Wine aficionados possess knowledge of how to correctly hold a wine glass and how long does it take for wine to oxidize that makes the drink unfit for consumption.
According to Fox News, the results of the poll revealed that 45 per cent of white wine drinkers were also identified as curious, sarcastic, perfectionists, prefer cats to dogs and spend slightly less money on wine.
On the other hand, 31 per cent red wine drinkers were more adventurous, humble, claimed to be wine aficionados, introvert, a dog-lover, opposed to a cat lover and spend slightly more on drinking.
Additionally, the study also analysed the knowledge of people who drink wine and host events regularly. (ANI)
