With the new addition, Charcoal Eats now has 25 outlets across 7 Indian cities including Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Delhi-NCR, Chennai and Nashik.
"Food is the common language that can unite people of different locations and generations. The fact that Chennai is a technology hub and is the centre to popular management, medical and engineering colleges makes it home for young people from different cultural backgrounds and hence a key market for us to explore. We are confident that people of Chennai will love our wide range of modern Indian flavours that has made us a favourite in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune & Nashik," said co-founder and CEO of Charcoal Eats, Anurag Mehrotra.
"We have served over half a million customers in the last 2 years with a high level of customer satisfaction and repeats. We are excited to be in Chennai and see a huge potential for expansion in the coming years," he further added.
Charcoal Eats offers high quality, all-day food options across snack and meal times, at various price points. Customers can take-away or order for delivery from these two Express outlets, as per their convenience. The offerings include a wide array of Biryanis, Rolls, Loaded Fries, Starters, Meals, Puff Pizzas, Beverages & Desserts.
The company prepares its food at best-in-class, modern, hygienic kitchens, using high-quality ingredients that are free from any artificial colors or MSG and is conscious that its packaging doesn't add to the carbon footprint.
In addition to walking up to the outlets, customers can access Charcoal Eats directly via its app, website or customer care number. Charcoal Eats is also available on all leading food platforms such as Zomato, Swiggy, Foodpanda, Dine Out, etc. Corporate executives can pay for their Charcoal Eats orders with their Sodexo cards.
Charcoal Eats recently raised INR 50 million Pre-Series A round of funding led by HNI investors. By December 2018, Charcoal Eats is targeting to have 60 plus outlets spread across 10 cities. (ANI-NewsVoir)
