Taylor Swift coming up with 'Lover' inspired clothing line

Washington D.C. [USA], June 15 (ANI): Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is teaming up with one of the biggest designers in the fashion industry to launch a clothing line inspired by her upcoming album 'Lover'.

The 29-year-old singer recently revealed during an Instagram Live that she is collaborating with Stella McCartney for a clothing collection.

"She's been a friend for a really long time and just a woman that I respect so much. I respect what she creates, how she creates it and there's so much whimsy and imagination and romance to the clothing that she designs," Swift said of McCartney during the live stream.
Swift has modelled many of the designer's pieces in the last year, from ethereal gowns to vibrant accessories, reported People.
In a performance on June 1 at the iHeart Radio Wango Tango concert, Swift rocked a pair of rainbow-coloured sneakers that were created by the 47-year-old designer.
"I've worn a lot of her stuff recently and she's heard the new album and this new collaboration is inspired by the Lover album," Swift said.
She is also fond of McCartney's bags and carried a printed backpack from the designer over one shoulder during a day out in New York City last summer.
Swift said that she gave McCartney a sneak peek of her new music to help inspire the pieces in the upcoming collection.
"She's heard the new album, and this new collaboration is inspired by the Lover album ... I'm so excited about that, and really excited that she would want to collaborate in this way," the star said during her Instagram Live.
The 29-year-old pop star already revealed in an interview with German outlet DPA, as cited by People, that her upcoming album will include songs with a political message.
"I definitely think there are political undertones in the new music I made," Swift said.
"I'm not planning to stop encouraging young people to vote and to try to get them to talk about what's going on in our country. I think that's one of the most important things I could do," she added.
Rest of the details regarding the upcoming clothing line have been kept under wraps. However, going by Swift's current taste and the whole theme of her new album, it may be a lot of bright and colourful looks.
