The former Miss Universe donned their nature-inspired Spring Summer 2019 collection - Limoncello. Sushmita looked ethereal in an off-shoulder parrot green gown, which she paired with a flowy cape and a turban.
The 42-year-old said she was "really excited" to walk for the designer duo as she could "feel the love and hard work put into the designing of the collection. It is a perfect fusion of modern and traditional."
"Bhumika & Jyoti have taken a great initiative by not only taking inspiration from the environment but also by being the first ones in the industry to be profound towards nature. It represents sustainability holistically with very thoughtfully selected fabrics and embroideries," she added.
The designers brought alive their interpretation and love for nature using a combination of some rich quality fabrics like georgette, crepe organza and chiffon married with unique tulip embroidery.
Talking about their collection, the designers said it is a mix of opulence and minimalism. "Our Spring Summer'19 collection, Limoncello has been inspired by the core belief of our label, which is our affection for the nature," they added. (ANI)
