New Delhi [India] Aug 7(ANI): Indian fashion designer Manish Arora can't wait to see his 'burning man' family again.
Burning Man is an annual event held in the western United States at Black Rock City, a temporary city in the Black Rock Desert of northwest Nevada. The event's name originated from its culmination, the symbolic ritual burning of a large wooden sculpture (the Man) that traditionally occurs on the Saturday evening of the event.
The excited Arora posted a countdown on his Instagram along with three throwback pictures from the last year's event.
"22 days to meet the man of my life BURNING MAN here are 3 photographs shot by 3 of my fav Photographers at the playa last year @eleanorpreger @scott.london @siderth can't wait to see my burning man family again," read the caption.

In the pictures, the ace designer can be seen donning a colorful abstract ensemble while complementing it with neck pieces and a bright pink jacket.
Burning Man is described as an experiment in community and art, influenced by ten main principles: radical inclusion, gifting, decommodification, radical self-reliance, radical self-expression, communal effort, civic responsibility, leaving no trace, participation and immediacy.
The event will be held from August 26 to September 4 this year. (ANI)

Eating a big breakfast does not help with weight loss

Washington DC [US], September 11 (ANI): There's the old saying in dieting that one must 'breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dine like a pauper,' based on the belief that consuming the bulk of daily calories in the morning optimizes weight loss by burning calories more efficiently and quickly. But according to a new study, whether a person eats their largest meal early or late in the day does not affect the way their body metabolizes calories. However, people who ate their largest meal in the morning did report feeling less hungry later in the day, which could foster easier weight loss in the real world.

Progressive Indian cuisine: Avant-garde or deja vu

New Delhi [India], July 14 (ANI): It was more than a decade ago when the words 'contemporary' Indian, 'progressive' Indian or 'avant-garde' Indian were first heard. In the context of food the trend setter was Manish Malhotra, who opened the doors of his restaurant - the Indian Accent - then housed in a small boutique hotel in the Capital called The Manor. Indian Accent was promoted by Rohit Khattar a restaurateur with innovative ideas who had trained in the US. Even earlier, he had created a buzz with his unique eatery 'Chor Bizarre' where everything was deliberately and deliciously mismatched.
