New Delhi [India], Dec. 9 (ANI): Within months of its launch, search engine giant Google has recently awarded LIKE App with Google Playstore awards in three important categories.

Google Play Awards 2017: LIKE app bags three awards

New Delhi [India], Dec. 9 (ANI): Within months of its launch, search engine giant Google has recently awarded LIKE App with Google Playstore awards in three important categories.

The app, which grabbed headlines owing to its unique format in just first month of its launch, has been awarded with best entertainment App category, Best social App category and Most Popular App category on November 30.

Spokesperson of LIKE app Aaron Wei expressed his happiness on receiving the popular App and said, "It was a great compliment and recognition for BIGO's global strategy and remarkable achievement."

"In the future, LIKE App will keep going on promoting the elaborate operation of overseas markets through technological breakthroughs and innovations. In the meanwhile, LIKE App will bring more convenient and interesting short video editing method to global users," he added.

The app was introduced to cater to fresh talents and people who are in search of platforms to showcase their talents and launched digitally by Bollywood celebrities like Shahid Kapoor, Nargis Fakhari, Neha Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha in August.

It is an amalgamation of unique 3D effects, BOOM effects and superior effects attribute to the winning status enjoyed by the makers of LIKE App currently.

The app has almost 20 million registered users in 187 countries.(ANI)
