Artotel- Experiencing past through the lens of future

Bhiwadi (Rajasthan) [India], Nov 21 (ANI): The first in a series of experiences, Artotel- Edition 1 "Past through the Lens of the Future", a creative free play between talented young industrial designers and local artists from Rajasthan, was recently organised here.

The event used Treehouse Hotel's wall as a canvas for expression for the artists as a medium, thus bringing alive the entire property.

The concept behind the exhibit was to paint things from the 90's which have gone obsolete with the advent of new technology, thus evoking nostalgia for an earlier era.

The concept also provided many local artists from Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan to work with the ideas and inspirations provided by the contemporary industrial designers for a unique artistic expression.

The walls will bear the art for the next few months, allowing all guests coming in to view and comment on the pieces.

On the occasion Jayant Singh, Founder and Managing Director, Karma Hospitality, said "Artotel is the first edition in our series where we have worked with upcoming talent and local artistes. We have used the walls of the resort as the canvas, as we wanted the hotel to bear testimony to this event, and make the art a part of the hotel itself." (ANI)
